Acorn & Rose teaches the many arts of puppetry right here at Schafer Gallery. Children do sculpture, painting, musical-instrument-making, along with learning the valuable skills of getting up in front of an audience. You can sign up for classes here at the Gallery.
Acorn & Rose Puppet Theater was born in spring, 2009 during an afterschool program at Lackamas Elementary School. We have since taught through several schools in Yelm and Tacoma, and performed at book stores, libraries, Handson Children's Museum, and many other venues including hilltops, backyards and playrooms. We are available for birthday parties and other celebrations.
